I dont know either Rick Faber or Wade Burck but I know that the anonymous person is not too knowledgeable about what they said when they suggest that training animals is easier if you train for somebody else.

I trained horses and dogs for years before retiring. The last 12 years only training my own for resale as it was much easier and had far less demands then training for someone else or an institution.

I do find this blog most informative and educational and maybe the person who made the wrong comment will do the same if they come here often enough.

For any folks wondering there was a nasty anonyous comment directed at Mr. Faber, which I posted and then responded to, and than decided it didn't even need to be posted, it being one of the most ignorant I have seen here or on any blog. That is what Bob Warner had posted too.
By the way, Bob welcome and we will look forward to you insight.

Ouch! All I said was Happy Birthday to the Colonel! I don't claim to know anything about training animals. And if you don't believe me, come check out our dogs! They haven't figured out why I make take them outdoors!

Rick,
The comment was directed at your and John's friendship. Normally, I sent anonymous comments to the person there are directed at instead of just deleting them. I'll will see if it is still is the septic tank and forward it if you would like.
Trust me Rick. the dog's know why you take them out. They are just waiting for you to figure it out. That is the world of animal training. Many trainers don't kno understand the "why" of something, they just know that it happens. So you are as qualified as any.
