For Paul McCarthy--Be careful what you wish for.

In the British International Business Newspaper, the Financial Times(FT) there is an article about a political campaign currently underway by William Shatner(who raises incredible saddlebred horses, I might add) to become the next Governor-General of Canada. The article quotes Capt. Kirk as saying that his first order of business would be to "eliminate the traditionally flip flopping up and down looney dollar with a much more stable currency called the Mordecai Cubits." Pictured above is the Star Ship Enterprise Commanders new Canadian currency. As there seems to be some confusion over who is the head of state in Canada, the Governor-General or the Queen, upon reading the statement from Shatner, in an act of desperation or a counter attack, depending on your political views, in the wee hours of the morning the Royal Adviser Mr. Elton John was summoned to Buckingham Palace for an emergency meeting.
