A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

First job I ever had in the circus was for George and Vicki Hanneford in the lobby of the building in this picture.
Last job I had was for George and Vicki at the Swap Shop in Ft. Lauderdale 20 years later . . .
Thanks for the memories . . .
Bruce the Clown
I remember attending this attraction as a kid. I recall that it was not air-conditioned and so many of the displays had been weather-worn by the Florida humidity and heat. The thing I remember most was the Volkswagen Bug that used to belong to the "giant" (his name slips my feeble brain at this time...) The driver's seat had been completely removed and the guide took great delight in explaining that he drove from the BACK seat!
