The attempt at natural rock work in these photo's is interesting. It looks like concrete was piled up and then troweled into a shape. The uniform "fish scale" look is pretty ugly, but for the day was probably state of the art. Interesting also are the "windows" at the back of the exhibits. You have to wonder if there was a building behind the exhibit's or just a "den" type of sleeping area. The photo above the window actually looks like a leaded glass window that you would see in a church. Does anyone have anymore history on this facility?
