A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
Mate, if you think I am goofing about writing circus history how you want it told, here is an example of how to make Kenneth Feld come off as an "ignorant towner, who doesn't care about circus history."

That may be true, that Kenneth didn't know of those deaths, but I'll bet you he knew the bottom line for the week, and the nut for the day. That wacky Kenneth just has his "priority wires" crossed, is all. That's why he let's us sweat the small stuff.

God news is, it has gone on long enough, and enough folks are aware of it, that I am even starting to find the old time die hard fans, taking it with a grain of salt, and check first. LOL It's encouraging because maybe our industry is starting to come, granted kicking and screaming, out of the dark ages.
