1976
1984
The rider above on the lead elephant above was Cindy Dodge, a beautiful girl, trained to do a single trapeze act by Armando and Anna Farfan, who fell to her death, the last day of the 1984 season, while practicing between the 5th and 6th show of a "six pack", or double 3 show day, so that she could be at the top of her game, for auditions in Venice in two weeks. If you study the "history" of the circus closely, you will discover that the greatest talent, from all fields from juggling to animal training came not from within the industry, but rather from outside the industry. There is a reason for that, but rather then rocking the boat, I will let historians point it out. The next time a Prince or Princess want's to stomp around in their crown, whacking folks with their scepter, point this fact out to them. Please don't ever insinuate that us "townies" or "peasants" in the vernacular of Royalty has as much right to this world as you do. Possibly more, given we chose it because we earned it.
