You folks may have seen some comments on the blog, that look like a chimp was playing patty cake on someone's keyboard. It was odd because of the same last name as my friends, Joey, Joe, and Tim Frisco. At first I thought it was Joey goofing, but then I asked around, and found out there actually is a Felicia Frisco. Estimate's of her age run from 2 according to most, to "I think 16 or 17", according to one person. She sent me this picture of Felica above, so I could post it on the blog for everybody. I don't come to this blog anymore...too much ball busting and belly aching about others and would rather think you a great man who is aging gracfully with his memories rather than this crap I have seen before on your blog. Maybe it's your frustration getting older and leaving the cats. I don't know your problem and I've got other things to think about and do but this came up on FB and so I clicked on it and found this post in your blog; I find it horrible.
I know Felica Frisco, known lots of circus kids in my day and it was our job as the 'elders' to encourage the children so they too can take what they were taught and enjoy it.
Maybe this girl will go into the ring and maybe she won't but considering she's a Frisco, there is little doubt that she won't and do it well.
Her grandfather taught his sons and they in turn have taught their children quite well.
If there is any hope for the next generation of cat or elephant training than we, as adults living out our days, need to support the next generation as you have your son and all the praise you have given.
I hope that you will delete this post and stop this childish bullshit and do what you do best on this blog by sharing something good and well deserved.

The lions were focusing on the one man, because they knew him as the "trainer" or the "head lion" or the "one in charge." All animals, from elephants to dogs, will focus on the one in charge as being the one to take down in a frightful situation. "He" is the one who can psychologically make them do what they don't want to do, and "He" is the one who must be eliminated if they want out of the fearful situation. You often hear that an elephant leaves the "goofs" alone. For the most part that is true, but not always. They don't look at the "goof" as a threat, or someone who can make them do something. They focus on the trainer. In the case's where they have gone after the "goof", it is normally always as a residual affect of being to afraid of the trainer, yet needing to strike out at something/someone. An animal will very seldom go after "everyone", but instead will focus on one for different reasons.
I almost thought Felica had written the second comment and not you. I thought you had grown out of that behavior. I am sorry that I offended you. If you knew as much about me as you pretend to, you would know that for all "young people" that I like and consider equals, I joke with and give a hard time to, as my friends and equals do with me. Would someone go on facebook and see if somehow I ended up befriending Miss Frisco, or she befriended me. I have a hard time navigating that deal, so very seldom ever go there. I just checked, I think, and it doesn't appear that she is on my friends list. Not much going on someones facebook unless they are on your friends list, from what I understand.

Thank you. I wondered about that because of the statements made about "stalking on my private facebook" would seem to fall in that grey area. That person would be an "slanderer", but only if it was spoken, and not printed. So, if you "hear" anything, please let me know. Although I think it is wrong for a grown man to argue with a young girl I AGREE with what you say. Felicia Frisco needs to shut her mouth, shes just a stupid little girl that talks way too much. She thinks she knows everything. Always arguing with "peta" members and defending circus people. She should learn to spell first because all she does is make circus people look ignorant and stupid with her illiteracy. She has a "big mouth" for a little girl and I don't disagree at all with what you say about her Wade, IT'S ABOUT TIIME SOMEBODY PUT HER IN HER PLACE. What she needs to do is just shut that face because in reality she just seems like an idiot, who think too much of herself. When she needs to look in the mirror and take her confidence level down a few levels.. REALLY.

I am ashamed of you....for letting all these nameless commentators blast vulgarities and hurt my brain with their spelling atrocities. Hope you come out ahead in this situation Wade. As for the people who proclaim that Wade Burck is a nobody, think again (also spelling his last name right may help as you try to google him). He may not have been as popular as Gunther Gebel-Williams, but he still made a name for himself. Just because you are from a younger generation and have not heard his name, does not make him a nobody. Magazines do not do articles on nobodies. Wade I respect your opinions and am thankful for coming across your little blog a few years ago.
Btw, PBS is doing a show about circus life. I think it premieres November 3rd...
