Does anyone know why the ring curb tops are raised. I don't believe Krone has a pull up net cage do they?

You just put this up in time - I was going to suggest elephant howdah!
So whose act is this?
Hi Wade,
It seems as though the "throne" pedestal is a new edition from some of the more recent YouTube videos I have seen. If I can find any, I will send you the links. I am slow...how is the mystery solved? Yes, I do believe the cage is made of bars, not raised from the curb. I will try to find out more.
@ Casey- I do know that he does have the lionesses alongside him on pedestals during part of the act, especially at the beginning, but I thought it was always that way?

It could be because Krone do not have ringside boxes for the public which acts as a safety barrier,so by lifting the ringfence tops it acts as a safety barrier. The public are very close there.
Chris,
The mystery was "what the heck is this?" LOL

Anonymous,
It is the same seating design they have always had, and the have a crack "seating team/security for getting the people to their seats and making sure they stay. Normally they stand at the bottom when the cage act is on. I don't think they are a barrier to keep the public back.
Wade
It almost looks like there is a white curtain bunched up in the ring curb.
Could this be the case?
Wade,
pretty sure they use to have one. because in 1989 and in 1995 Krone was on tour in the Netherlands, i was able to see both shows when they played in my hometown. in 1989 it was used with John Campolongo and the Hawthorn white tigers, and in 1995 it was used with Trudy Wilson Strong and the 14 Hawthorn tigers
Happy easter

Wade - don't rush to answer my question. I just worked it out for myself!! The two white lionesses off by themselves was the clue!!!!
Steve,
Think Clown Awards and Monte Carlo...
I remember a wire cage at Krone in the 80s, when Karoly Donnert performed there few season with his tigers and horse.
