Cyndi Ratliff, wife of Audubon Zoo Elephant Manager Joey Ratliff, has been rearing Menari for the past nine months, and she has now been added to the excellent Orangutan program at the Audubon Zoo. Menari was "pulled"(removed for hand rearing) when it appeared her mother was experiencing pain nursing her initially. Although eating solids at this time, she still looks forward to a bottle 3 times a day. Great job Cyndi and Audubon staff.
