I remember seeing Ada and Klaus in 1965 in Greenville, SC on RBBB. I think she opened the first half and Charly worked in the second half. She was pregnant at the time so her costume was different than the one in the video. Klaus would work the comedy lion after her act. It was a challenge to get the lion to work but when it wasn't distracted by all the "new" elements it was a clever routine.
Greenville was one of the early dates on the route. The show had a lot of new acts from Eastern Europe, some displays had seven acts working at once. (Yes I know, now the whole show has seven acts.) For a circus fan, 3 1/2 hours of show is just about right.
