Pavlenko--Controversy surrounded this act. But it illustrates the brilliance of the wild animal world of the 70's and 80's.

Unfortunately the "props" hide the amazing "stalk and charge" Pavlenko did at the end of this act.

In this video Pavlenko brings the tiger in a different direction, and you can see the "stalk and charge" better. Last time a tiger was that hot and that close to me, he had my hand in his mouth, and my legs in his claws. LOL

I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO SEE THIS ACT IN EITHER 1989 OR THE EARLY 90'S. IT WAS WELL PRESENTED, TWO OF THE THINGS I REMEMBER BEST WERE A WALK AROUND WERE HE STARTED IN THE CENTER OF THE RING WITH 1 OR TWO CATS AND THEY WALK IN A CIRCLE AS THE TRAINER TURNED, CATS WOULD COME DOWN OFF THEIR SEATS AND JOIN THE THE LINE TILL HE HAD AT LEAST 8 CATS CIRCLING THE RING, VISUALLY IT WAS REALLY SOMTHING.

THE OTHER ELEMENT WAS WHEN THE CATS PERFORMED THEIR JUMPS FROM PEDESTAL TO PEDESTAL THE HOUSE LIGHTS WERE TURNED DOWN AND A SPOT LIGHT LIT THE CENTER OF THE RING,WHILE THE PERIMITER WAS DARK, CATS CAME OFF THEIR SEATS VERY QUICKLY AND DID THIER JUMPS IN A RAPID FIRE MANNER, AND THEY WERE JUMPING FROM THE LEFT PEDESTAL TO THE RIGHT AND VICE VERSA, AND THIS WENT ON FOR SOME TIME, IT WAS LITERALLY "THE FLYING TIGERS". IT WAS MULTIPLE TIGERS DOING MULTIPLE JUMPS, VERY IMPRESSIVE.
