so what I want to know is the snake saving the kangaroo or eating it..is it helping or hurting??

It is an Australian snake which means it is hurting the Kangaroo, with the intention of eating it. If it was a Las Vegas snake or a circus snake, then it would be saving the Kangaroo, by helping it out of the water.
