There is a lot of craziness in the world at the moment, but this is the craziest!!!! Can anybody make sense of this.

The Empire State Building is routinely lit with different colors to honor holidays or big event's around the world. It is now lit in red and yellow lights to commemorate 60 years of communist oppression in China!!!!! What is the body count of American's who have died fighting communism? I hate politics. but can somebody help me understand what this is about.
