For Steve Robinson--Lincoln Park Zoo--1900

Mate, unless you can produce a phote earlier then 1900, I am going to suggest that the one chain system was not an Aussie innovation, but was actually stolen from the Colonies. They were smart to find a place with no air conditioning ducts or heating systems wires to chain her up in to take the photo.

Whoa pardner - back up a bit!!

I've never claimed that one leg chaining is an Aussie invention.

As a matter of fact our history only goes back for a couple of hundred years so probably nothing is an Aussie invention.

I'm sure that I've read here [or on another Blog] that Col Herriott says that some things are so old that they are new again. [Or words to that effect]. I wholeheartedly concur with that saying so don't claim credit for inventing anything - it's all been done before somewhere.

Steve,
This is just the ground work in case there was any credit claimed. "Words to that effect" is the best description I have heard regarding what Col. Herriott says. LOL
