Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. He also was a few times at MTS, ATA, Carré, Stuttgart, and the Kronebau in Munchen.
He presented a mixed act with lionesses, tigers, bears and leopards.
Since 1995 he has his own show, René strickler freundschaft mit raubtieren. He toured in Switserland. In 2004 (I think) he start his own zoo with tigers, bears, leopards, puma's,... He bought a group of puma's in 1995 from Wolfgang Heppner who presented them before in Circus Aldano.

I heard that his big polar bear Polaris has died in June, do you have anny info on this?

His polar bear died because he was very old. He was more then 33 years old.
