A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

this is the kind of show that made ringling the greatest show on earth. wish they could clone it for the red and blue units. congratulations to whoever put this unit together.
Henry,
Best Circus Available, possibly. Greatest Circus Around, maybe. But it quit being the Greatest Show on Earth about 10 years ago.

Wade Mon Cherie.
Right on it...Bravo...
cant compared at all with Kaleidoscope.
the performers entrance. and the ring curve. is not at all attractive.
and the act same same.
sincerely Mireille.
In Rome, Milan and Madrid, folks are used to see immensely better standards, and at at more affordable prices.
Good luck.
Raffaele,
Come on, Raffie. Back in the day, folks could get away with that, "it is better in Europe" nonsense, and goofs just assumed it was fact, because there was no way to verify. With the new video, photo, and internet technology available today, we know for a fact there is as much junk over there as there is anyplace else, much of it over priced, even if it is free/gratis. I would assume that anything Ringling offers will be at least as good as the best available in Rome, Milan, or Madrid. I have seen pictures of some of the show's "rated" by the Italian Circus rating panel/board and you have to wonder why "garbage" and "really garbage" isn't one of the classifications. When folks get their underwear in a knot over winning second/silver or third/bronze at Monaco you got to wonder, why would you spend a career hanging, "I lost big time" paper.
