London. Summer 1980.
David Smart (Yasmine's late father) presented a winter circus at the same venue for the 1980-81 season.
The Christmas Smart show was a strong TV tradition broadcasted every year with a huge following, so few doubts that Yasmine was popular enough to be featured on a poster.

Anyone/anything can be featured on a circus poster. The "tv star" is stretch, given the circumstances of tv appearance once a year.
