A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

This is Master Clown Otto Griebling...Jimmy Graham
Jimmy,
How are you doing, old friend. How is your lovely wife? I would have assumed you or DJ or other esteemed members of the famous Clown College would have taken a shot at me for the blunder. I would have deserved it, and humbly taken the thrashing. Some of my most cherished "circus" memories are of the incredible alley's that Ringling had. Graduation was to be witnessed to be appreciated, and Nuremburg's are indescribable. You just had to be there. You know I would have been like a crazed monkey defending the last banana if someone had posted a picture of Charly Baumann and labled it GGW.

In 1986 I was hired by Tim Holt and Steve Smith,to work for the Clown College,Costume Dep, with Howard Kaplan.he is a great designer,we did so many different clowned costume, some years we had 48 in class.and the graduation was great, and famous.
and was with them until there was no more.
and we move to Palmetto. were I start to do the Elephant Blanket.with Arthur Boccia, many many new ones and also refurnish the old one, like the Gunther ,and the Tiger one...until 2003.
then my husband was not doing to good . and I did not go back.
all in all I was 17 years with the great RBBB.they are lovely memories.
and you had to be there to cherished. and I am almost sure I made Jimmy Graham costume.
