A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Ugg!
Madame Col.
I was going to ask "what do you think of the riders feet and the severe, almost rollker collection?" But I thought I would wait and see if you noticed it. I guess you did. LOL
On a different note, I wish you could see the straight Al Khamsa stallion I got in on Thursday. Stunning golden chestnut with a gorgeous light palomino mane and tail, with "classic" old desert grey roaning at his flanks and barrel. The first thing he did on coming out of the trailer was sling his head and bloody my nose. He is so beautiful, I couldn't even correct him. I just apologized for getting in his way. He did the same thing the next morning when I went to grain him, only then he wasn't as pretty, so we "fixed" the problem. I am just dying to get a surcingle on him, and hope to have time next week.
