A goat muscle trick

Although we viewed this behavior some time ago,
it is sure worth a second look. The questionable thing
about something this spectacular is the off chance that the
animal(nothing is 100%) will come done, and from that
height, the breaking of a limb is a very real possibility.

Hello Wade: I don't know about you, but I find this very sad. Specatacular- I suppose, but how many goats and monkeys were lost doing this? Also, what is this venue? It looks like a Chinese Zoo. Of course, for every goat that's lost, you could feed the whole troupe for a year- with enough rice. I think monkey is also a delicacy in China... It reminds me of one time I was riding a bus through Chinatown in San Francisco and this old Chinese woman got on the bus with a live chicken in a bag. The driver told her to get off with the live chicken and the woman feigned not understanding. The driver kept demanding she get off with the chicken, so she pulled it out of the bag and tore it's head off with her bare hands and threw it on the floor flopping around and splashing blood everywhere. That must've satisfied the driver, as off we went. When all the blood was drained all over the floor for several rows, she picked up the body and the head and threw them back into the bag. No waste with the Chinese. The bus emptied at the very next stop, including me. The Chinese are so gracious! I bet they are the gentlest of animal trainers too!

Wade, I have a stack of GG-W photos for you, so please send your current address if you would, to circusartist@aol.com. Thanks! Neil Cockerline

Seems like the goats would be at an advantage with their split hoofs, and great balance?
