Ringling Bros Circus--Greensboro, N. Carolina

I guess it serves a purpose, and it is something new, but I am sure glad it was not part of the profession years ago. It is as silly as the Spanish Riding school having Maestoso count to 10, by pawing the ground. Terrible disrespect for an animal's capabilities in my opinion. But the husbandry/care/condition of the animals has improved 100 % from 50 years ago. I don't mention the "new" pen's much because I am not real sure they are necessary, and are anything more then cosmetic feel goods. I would rather have my show horse in a stall, then loose in a paddock.
