I suggest both Cincinnati Zoo above, and Lincoln Park Zoo below, got a little carried away with their attempts at "natural" in the "redoing" of their Feline Buildings, but they managed to give the illusion of depth and bigness brilliantly that was not there with the older tile walled cages.

Wade, I love the Cat House at the Cincinnati Zoo as you know, especially the decor and the smell. Here is a list of all the small cats that they have, which comprises quite an extensive collection.
* Black-footed Cat
* Bobcat
* Canada Lynx
* Caracal
* Clouded Leopard
* Eurasian Lynx
* Fishing Cat
* Geoffroy’s Cat
* Margay
* Ocelot
* Pallas’ Cat
* Pampas Cat
* Sand Cat
* Serval
* Siberian Lynx
* Southern Brazilian Ocelot
In addition, here are all their large cats:
* Cheetah
* Malayan Tiger
* Snow Leopard
* Champagne Lion
* White Tiger
In fact, they are the only place in North America outside of Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden to have both white tigers and champagne lions.

Mary Ann,
Yes, the cat house is beautiful. But you can keep the smell. I was blown away by the graphic's when I first saw the zoo in 1984, in fact had a framed copy of the poster print they made to commensurate the reopening. But as you study them, they are "more of the same", which becomes like a zoo with all the same rock work. Tired and mundane, like cage upon cage of barred enclosures. I suggested to Ed Maruska at the time, that they consider getting rid of most of the cat's and concentrate on Poison Arrow Frogs instead, of which they have done a great job with.
Wade
Wade, I know that you are just razzing me, but you know where you can put those frogs,
Mary Ann
