While London Zoo holds the distinction of the ugliest Elephant House, Brookfield has to have that title for it's interior.

When this building was built is was said to be the largest zoo building in the world. It was the home to Ziggy, the ledgendary male Asian, the first and second black rhinos born in captivity, and more. For years in was painted in pleasant shades of green. Around 1970 some artsy-fartsy decorator painted it purple.
