Vinicio Togni

I don't know what happened in the picture above, probably a fight started with one of the stallions. But given Vinicio's skill it looks like he sorted it out quick enough.

Another interesting venue with the black drapes in the background.

Was this for a photo shoot?

Steve,
I believe this was for an equine show that the did, and not the traditional circus. Maybe Raffaele knows more about it.

he'sshow this year was based on the horse acts. Think it called cavallomania. But it wasn't for a whole season. They had in 2007 or 2006 also an second ring filled with ice.

Steve,
Or if Raffaele drags his feet, Thomas will get here first. LOL

Thank you Thomas. What do you think of the pictures of the lion act from Steve Lavis? The act looks as good as Martin Lacey's don't you think?

Yes, it was "Cavallomania", Spring 2007, when they turned their circus into an horse show for awhile.
The two-rings ice show was at other times.
They actually are in Rome with name "Circo Latino Americano" with a traditional ring format.
Today they probably have the largest big top touring in Italy.
They have a website with pictures, I think is www.lidiatogni.it

Wade,

I think in this pic you can see music, lights, presentation, etc. are sometimes more important then what the animals do. I never saw a tape of this act so I can't say anything about the level of the tricks. When I see this pic it seems to be a bit a lame act. But can't decide that on one pic.

Thomas,
The word "lame" you used. Is that a Dutch word? Where did you learn a word like that? LOL Lights, music, presentation, what the Ringmaster say's, interview's, self serving friend paper, will all influence how good something is, unless you are versed/learned enough to pick through the smoke and mirror's and look at fact's. I'm proud, you are learning well. Now demand the best of the Animal Trainers left, or tell them to go home and quit wasting your time and entertainment dollar.

Thomas,
It is English, and you used the word in the right context, you just don't understand the definition of the word. I am going to tell you the definition, if you promise not to tell your mother and father that I was the one who told you. If they ask you, "where did you hear that word," tell them "Steve Robinson from Australia told me."
Lame means "not worth a shit." Like a three legged horse is lame, or "not worth a shit" in the Kentucky Derby. LOL
No need to thank me, unge ven. I thank you for your interest and dedication to my craft.
