This is Rüdiger Probst from the Circus Probst on of the only private owned circuses to travel in former East-Germany. After the fall of the iron curtain Probst continued with succes, unlike some of the former VEB circuses.
Rüdiger also works with bears and the circus also has (or had) a group of male lions.
