Don't take chances with a horse.

I posted the above picture a few days ago, and asked what indicates Belly Wein cares about their horse's. Firstly, they have put a halter on over the head stall to clip too instead of the rings on the bit. Secondly, they have bungee cords tie's with a quick release safety snap on the horses right side. Compare it with the picture below of a disaster waiting to happen. The horse below is tied/snapped to the bit ring, with his head tied down with baling twine/rope. If he should get scared and pull back, three things can happen. The snap may break bruising his bars, the head stall may break, jerking the bit out of his mouth and breaking teeth. The ropes act like a standing martingale and are called a tie down. They offer no relief to the head as a running martingale does. Note he even has a string over his nose to hold the bit up in his mouth as the headstall is too big for him, and with out it, the bit would hang too low in his mouth.
This picture below is sad. We are looking at a horse with it's head tied down, snapped to his bit ring, getting diarrhea/scours washed of his back legs. The broken./ratty tail and the swelled up belly would indicate a parasite/worm problem that should be Ivermectined on a regular basis. Note his hooves how they have worn unevenly on the toe from pawing, and note the different angles of the feet. There are good and bad in every profession, and these two photo's should not be considered indicative of horsemanship in the circus.

The last to pictures are taken at the Moscow Star Circus of the Iarz family. One of the only Belgium circus with animals.

Thomas,
"Moscow Star Circus". That tells me right there they are on a "fishing trip" an probably not real class. If this is how they take care of animals in Belgium, I guess I can understand why there are no more in the circus.

Wade,
This is a sad circus but ten years ago it was much bigger and more beautiful. Now it is a poor circus that don't takes well care for their animals. But we have in Belgium alexandre bouglione a good beautiful circus with very good care for their animals and a good show.
