Rex Williams and Col. Joe, before Joe defected to Germany.

The stable hand holding the great Rex's hook for him was named Hound.

Great picture. Who is the bull in the background?

Ryan,
I am no sure, possibly Gardner.
Rex was one of the neatest, most fun guys to be around. Nobody is perfect, and Rex surly wasn't either, buy kinder hearted man you wouldn't find.

Bowzer has the bullhook.
Big Joe is closest to my dad.
Reed is the smaller male next to Joe.
Gardner never had ivory.

Darlene,
Did he not call Bowzer, Hound like a man would call a women Dear? LOL
I remember when I bought a tri color basset for Tracey he called it Dirty Faced Hound. He was a great, great, talented man an I think about him almost daily.
For you guys that think Pamela Sue Anderson is hot, Darlene stunt doubled for her on many Bay Watch shows. For the rest of you Darlene is the oldest daughter of the Great Rex and Ava Williams.
Be safe Darlene,
Wade

Wade. does Darlene have a sister named Renee? I have been told that the female African elephant at the Toledo Zoo, Louie's mother, was named for the daughter of Rex Williams.

Bowzer was his real name. Hound was his nick name. My dad called him both Bowzer and Hound. I remember my dad was so sad when Hound died. He was a great little dog that loved my dad. I truly believe they are all (my dad & all his animals) together now. I miss my dad everyday. Thanks for posting his pictures.
