FYI Steve Robinson--Brigitta Boccoli

This is Brigitta Boccoli, an Italian actress who is married(I know because I took a shot at her) to Stefano Nones Orfei, Animal Trainer on Circus Moira Orfei. I don't know why you had to enlarge it any way Steve. You couldn't see on normal size they were real, damn. I didn't even realize s she had an adams apple. You need to come in out of the bush more often mate, those Aborigine Princess's are jambing you up. I'm thinking I should have asked to see a picture of Stef, before taking your word on her beauty. I may not have asked her if she had a sister.

It's not "they" I was checking out.But anyone who has to tell you that "they" are real is a bit suss!

It's like blokes coming to you for a job and say straight up ".... I don't do drugs..." or "......I don't booze......" when you haven't even asked.

Anyway your second picture looks OK [are you sure it's the same cute charmer?] but I can still see better at home.

Pity you missed out on the sister - we might have been geriatric brothers in law! LOL

Steve,
A "bit suss"!!!!!! You Aussies play around with the words like the character commenting below you.

John,
I "enlarged" the photos as Steve suggested, and the 3rd picture, compared to the 1st is a bit suss all right. I wonder if she is trying to emulate Great Britain's Greatest? I am sure glad Gunther just dyed his hair. LOL

She has a sister, actually. She's called Benedicta Bocccoli. She's also a famous theatre actress in Italy and I imagine Google being generous about references.
Concerning Brigitta, I can guarantee that she is remarkably disciplined and talented in presenting tigers and circus acts in general. Stefano, a great trainer and circus man, can be proud of such a wife.

Raffie,
I meant no disrespect to Ms. Bocccoli. The picture with the note on it was sent to me, and I reposted these that you had sent to the "history channel" to try to show Steve that she was indeed real. I would like to meet Stefano one day, as I have heard good things about his work with tigers. Maybe you could arrange a date with Benedicta and myself, and we could double date with he and Brigitta.
We men could sit around drinking wine and talking tigers, and the women could sit around drinking wine and looking incredible.
Let me know, I keep a small bag packed for just such emergencies.

Your proposal seems quite reasonable.
Actually, in this year's Christmas holidays you will have the four best italian animal circuses at less than two hour distance trip one from the other. A quite exceptional circumstance.
In fact, the map will be:
-Stefano Nones with Moira Orfei circus in Florence (and Brigitta too of course);
-Medrano-Casartelli in Rome (with Martin Lacey in the cast);
-Lidia Togni (with Vinicio's horses, I don't know the cage act yet) in Rome too;
-Flavio Togni's Americano in Napoli.
Well, some of the greatest circus shows in some of the most beautiful towns...Not so bad after all.

Raffaele,
Florence, Rome, and Napoli are nice, I will grant you that, but none of them compare with Evansville, Indiana and the Turkey Festival for pure ambiance and cuisine(the Donut Hole is my favorite), and it is a short drive to the Larry Bird Basketball Museum.
The Festival season has become such a beautiful affair in Europe that has far eclipsed MC in talent. They make the "awards festival" that much more sad, pathetic and unnecessary. MC has now become like a tired old whore, cheeks rouged, lips painted, sitting at the window waiting for the high dollar johns to return. Folks stop by to chat occasionally. Not out of respect,mind you. Their just to scared to tell the old girl to close it up, there's not a market for cowbags anymore.

As example, the Grenoble Festival just finished had a talent program you can compare to some of the best MC editions.
But, businesswise, the tourist-oriented ticket sale in MC is still a growing and considerable affair for Magic Kingdom.
I think that, in the dozens of Festivals today around, Paris Festival is remaining THE place where you can discover real new talents, unseen before, in a good balance between modern and classic, with a true casting staff around the schools of the planet. And very decent jurys.
They don't have animals, but this is another chapter.

Raffaele,
Of course the tourist ticket sale is still great. It is promoted with such spin and nonsense, even by the employee's who "compete" and judge. I still content it is nothing more then a race through the street by formula one cars. Difference is the winner is obvious, and not just organ grinder monkeys.
Yes, it is all for the principality, and I will continue to be offended by the suggestion that it is a "circus God send." It does nothing for the circus except call attention to it's occasionally pathetic "look at us, we are important to" nature once a year. Artist's need to learn to suck up to something financial for a while.
