Putting on a circus in a shrinking world

It has been suggested that the reason shows are getting smaller and smaller, is that there is no more space left to set up large tents, and all the equipment, trucks etc. necessary. Above is an aerial view of Charles Knie in Germany and below of Ringling Bros. here in the United States. If you think it is hard finding space in an open field, imagine trying to fit the Greatest Show on Earth in today's coliseum parking lot. Above behind the tent we see the "beast wagon" for the felines plus the exercise cageing Below on the right we see the front corner of the "beast wagon" plus the exercise cage, plus the rolling cages to take the animal across the street for the performance.
