A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Great video. The big fella at the 3:30 mark is quite impressive. Those Forcados have always struck me as an odd lot. Like you Wade, I have always wanted to test myself in the ring (practice ring that is). Not being a horse man though, I take up the cape and wear the "country outfit" ala the mighty Arruza!
Joey,
Lest we forget, it was Arruza incredible come back/return as a rejoneador and the raising of his own bulls under his brand after he retired from being a matador/rehoneador that cemented his place in history. I see you more as an El Cordobes with a twist of John Fulton. The spectators would go nuts paging through the record books to find another African American matador to compare you to. LOL Speaking of culture and the arts, I wonder how many have noted the remarkable historical similarities between the bull ring, and the production surrounding it, and the circus ring, and the production surrounding it. Even standing in the middle at the end of the performance with arms upraised, to receive accolades.
Be safe friend,
Wade
