To borrow another useless quote...

"Yet another senseless attack at the (National Wildlife) facility. And as usual it is the humans fault, NOT!!!"

I think we can all see that the bear not jumping the rail of the bridge and running away was the cause of the disaster,,lol.
I will bet this guy thinks out the release of the next bear a little more carefully, and does it where there are less obstacles in the bears route,,lol

Wow! what great back up support from the staff. Another case of the blind leading the blind!

Casey,
I assure you the bear laid in that trap, and listened to him jump on top, and didn't hear him jump back down. As the bear has probably been trapped a time or two, his first thought upon waking was, "forget going to look for berries and fish, that door cracks I'm going to snack on a leg bone. They had him blocked every way with only straight ahead open, but Yogi's mind was set in advance. Katy bolt the door, he was heading for the commissary right now. God this deal is so funny. The guy in the pickup is thinking, "what the hell is that idiot doing now!!!!"

Joseph,
Did your Mother put you up to that?

To get the conversation back on to it's still unresolved track - I am assuming that, because this guy has the costume, he has the Clyde Beatty style popgun, he is working with the bear alone, [his backup is still sitting in the truck] - then this guy must be QUALIFIED?????

So now that his unfortunate stuff up has been seen all around the world is he now judged to be UNQUALIFIED and, if so, how does he regain his former qualifications?

Wade?

Steve,
Those are a lot of assumptions. First you would have to assume Clyde Beatty was qualified, yet there is not standard of qualification. You would also have to assume that working alone is qualification, and then assume that getting hurt makes you unqualified(even the best surgeon is the world loses a patient or two.) 100% fact is the one's who haven't been hurt, haven't done much.

Thank God....
Steve had me wondering if I should give up this show biz. I was under the assumption that if you pushed the envelope, you might get dinged once and awhile. This guy didn't even take much of a hit (thats why it's funny) I have probably had bigger wounds on my peter then that bite,,,lol (don't ask, I was in mexico,,lol)

Jeez Wade - we're never going to get this "qualification" thing settled!

No wonder somebody said that you are "argumentative" LOL

Your last sentence was spot on the money.

"100% fact is that the ones that haven't been hurt haven't done much."

That's not a fact, that's an opinion, and a lame one at that.

I wonder if local animal control came out to check if the rabies vaccination was up to date on the bear. Oh wait, he didn't get clawed, he got bit. Never mind.

No my mother didn't put me up to it. I read your blog all the time. It's much more interesting than "The History Channel."

Joseph,
Thank you, and I am glad you are here. I hope it is also educational as it is important that young people get facts on which to learn history. If we get a little rough with the debates, plug your ears. That's just big people talk.
Be good to your mother, she is a great lady.
