For Neil Cockerline

I can't answer your question a George Keller. All we have a few pictures and somebodies word for it depending on whether Keller was their friend. Do we many pictures of old acts practicing? Not to many yet is is common today. Is what we see in the show, all that individuals do to produce the public result? I have addressed the misconception of "European Style" and "American Style" Animal people have discussed the photo below. The photo below that is 4 years later when the animal still would not walk. What did it go through mentally to achieve eventual "love, kindness, and gentleness. I can tell you Neil, that in 34 years, I have never gone in a cage with out at least a stick, and I have never seen anyone else do it. I can also tell you the bigger the stick the less gentle. The less done in public, the more done when the public is not there. What is often perceived as hard in public is a consistency that is done always, and might not be hard as the public thinks. Is the horse trainer who schools in spurs, but takes them off to do the show "gentle"? Or is the trainer who wears spurs always because the are necessary consistent so they don't have to use them much, just have them handy as animals are not machines, and thus are inconsistent. This comment was posted with the very top picture a couple of months ago on the "History Channel": "You can see from these pictures that he apparently gets on good with the lions in spite of the video of a few months ago." Now look at the you tube, and you decide, Neil. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lDpLy2rGs0 Read this fan's thoughts to the picture below, and read the comments from the hind leg thread from animal people: "I seen blank perform nearly a hundred times. Blank could calm the cat down by making a soft schussing sound. I once told Blank their cats did not perform anything other trainers do in their act. I went on to say it was Blanks bonding and expertise with the tigers that made Blanks act great. I never seen anyone handle tigers better and they showed their love for Blank.
