A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Wade, here's bits of her act on You Tube. A couple of things I noticed were that the 3 horses stay in the bow while she leaves for a wardrobe change, and also the backwards hind leg walk. Unfortunately, the video is chopped up so the whole act isn't shown.

Ian,
Thanks for the link. I like how they stay down in the bow until she gets the jacket off. I did notice one start to stand up, and look over his shoulder, as if to say, "gosh, I wonder what is taking her so long" LOL Also on that page is one of Dianne Olds Rossis horse's. Wade, this is absolutely exquisite, reminiscent of a great ballet, exhibiting grace, beauty, strength, stamina, balance, precision, etc.

Wade, that clip is fantastic. Youtube is the greatest thing to come down the pike. Almost anything you're looking for is up there. What did we do before the internet?
Ian
Wade, when is your Evansville act going to be on You Tube?
Mary Ann
Ian,
We either drove/flew to see it, or we just took somebody's word for it.
Wade
Mary Ann,
It's not. Youtube told me somebody named Cainine has sent them all the tiger clips they can use for now. Their vaults are full, and they don't anticipate room for at least 15 or 16 years.
