Linda Gruss

This isn't it either for a Pegasus. The best I have seen was the "winged" surcingle
Cliff Vargas had made for General Vargas. I sure wish I had taken pictures of it.
John Herriott, do you remember it. I was always told it was made out of goose feather.

The eight winged horses that were part of the "pay off" section of the "living Unicorn" spec were just gorgeous. We used them in Japan with that spec and they were a pain in the butt to put on and the horses had to be held individually so they wouldn't bang into each other, but just one of them would have been a big hit anywhere and Ringling had eight. That was indeed the greatest Show On Earth. What happened? I did hear that Gunther would use any excuse not to use them and I can understand why when I got involved with them.
