I am going to go out on a limb and assume this is China or Asia given it's "inspiring" efforts in regards to animal welfare in the past. The scrawny "Steppe/Mongolian" horse is also an indicator. Big giant lion, obviously with his claws, and an impressive set of canines. The "impressiveness" of this training marvel is even more "awesome" given the wet surface the horse is running on. This travesty is the exception, and is not in the United States of America.

How much the animal scene/climate "hasn't" changed.

To all horsemen/horsewomen,
Note the horse back on his heel on his left front foot. That by God is how you calibrate a hoof angle.

This horse looks scared, and the lion is almost bigger, maybe it would be an more impressive trick if the lion was riding the horse....LOL....
That didn't make any sense....I meant if the horse was riding the lion....
Margaret,
Initially I wasn't going to run it. Then I realize it was just Margaret being Margaret. LOL
Wade
Wade,
I don't know, but this looks computer generated? Am I missing something?

You know what, after looking at those pictures for a while, it's as though the Chinese copied exactly the famous Al G. Barnes poster of the horse on the lion, even to the yellow trimmed red blanket. That poster could have been the reference they used in putting this thing together. Maybe they didn't realize that artistic license was taken in depicting the horse without any protective covering in the advertising.
Poor bas***ds are probably thinking "what is all the outcry, were just doing what the Americans did" And, those pictures caused a huge outcry in Britain when they first appeared in the press ( I did a little research on them). There is also a tiger in this presentation.

Chris,
Good eye. I wondered at that also. I wanted to point out the horse and the lions in any case.
Wade
Wade, check out the videos I sent you - this isn't computer generated
Ian
Ian,
Great research. That's what it is about. Getting fact's and not letting emotions twist you up. You would be amazed at how many animal people today will look at a painting or artist rendering, and ponder, "how did they get them to do that?" LOL
Wade
I get the "how" on this,,,,I am missing the "why" though. Is there a shortage of draft horses in the far east?
I will go out on a limb and say I think the lion is having a grand time.
