The hind leg cats are wonderful. Many thanks for the photos to Mr. Marcan. With all due respect to Mr. Marcan however, Wade I never what to hear another word about what I wear in the arena for training, or about my scrawny white legs in shorts. Mr. Marcan has the advantage of a all year Fl tan. And what kind of hat is that?

Casey,
Don't be so disrespectful!!! Those are former Roman Gladiator legs, for your information. You picked up on the dome cover. Good, because that is the secret to great hind leg walks. I didn't show you mine, as I didn't feel you were ready for "high tech" information just yet.

No disrespect intended. I feel comfort is key when in the arena, as apparently Mr. Marcan does. I have heard rumor of a tiger trainer in IL. who prior to training, will attempt to cram a size 36 ass and legs into some size 32 wranglers. He does this in fear that someone will break into the barn to capture the training on film only to embarrass him later. As far as the "dome cap" if it takes that for a hind leg cat, I will go with out, haha.

Casey,
None taken. As you are relatively new to the fraternity, you aren't aware that comfort has a great deal to do with sophistication in regards to training attire.
As Josip is a "trainer", he is just getting the animals used to the relatively new look of "khaki shorts and hiking boots", that is popular with todays zookeepers and educational show orators. Nothing to do with George Strait "doesn't my behind look fine" wranglers, and Larry Mahan Elk boots.
The do rag is important. The right one will get you instantaneous results, and the wrong one will be an exercise in futility. Good luck. I would suggest buying at least 15-16 of them to start, until you hit on the right one. The "right one" is not a bit of information we feel you are worthy of at this time. Experiment, learn as you go.
