Hawthorn on Ringling

As you see Steve we have the same "beast wagon" in a sense only we have more options as it can be made in to separate unit. No need to pass animals through each other, each unit can be moved or changed or switched. Ringling did not have a chute and if Hawthorn would not have had one, the who cage would have had to have been turned with the end of the building being the front. As an example for you, and I am sure you will appreciate the difficulty for anyone working a Hawthorn act, after working a European seat in the front act, because of the pyramid which is partially illustrated in the picture of the hind leg tiger and above. You have 1/4 of the arena to perform in, and 3/4 of the arena for the animal to flee to. The lay down is illustrated. All animals had to be called from their seats, over the laying flat pyramid into the lay down with all the space back to their seats open. The trainer could not block them as you can, and the only opening for you to go in back is through the open area in the middle. The pyramid raises up for a pyramid, and drops flat afterwards but stays for the whole performance.
