A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Wade are you winding us up or is that fair dinkum the name of that zoo?????????????
Steve,
Swear to God, that's the name of the Zoo. Do you suppose the fellow crouching beside the tapir is named Gobbler?
Wade
Don't wanna go there mate!
Mate,
I don't blame you. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
Wade
Isn't another Gobbler's Knob the home of Punxsutawney (yes, I had to look it up)Phil, the legendary ground hog?
I also looked up Bloomingdale, IN. A small town almost directly west of Indianapolis on US 41.
Any stories about people being attacked by tapirs?
