The last Quagga known to man died at the Amsterdam Zoo in 1883. She was a mare, and we can only assume that her last day's were relatively pleasant and not frustrating, given that she did not have a castrated male to rub on and get all worked up over. Isn't that right Mary Ann

Wade, I love this blog. It's scientific, it's informative, it's entertaining, it's sociable, and sometimes it just plain makes me laugh out loud, like just now.
Mary Ann
