My United States Navy Seaman father, George Burck and myself at 16 day's old. I don't remember much more then that.
My mother and father, brother Keith and I, the year dad started teaching school, eventually becoming the Principal, before leaving the education field to become a Hospital Administrator. He died 3 day's after seeing me work professionally with my first tiger and elephant act. Adam was 2 months old. Dad missed the great roller coaster ride to the Greatest Show on Earth
My first animal, my dog Bootsie. Penny didn't count because she was mine and Keiths together.

I remember your mother showing me this pic of you and your Dad. I didn't know him long, but got to know him well when I stayed with your parents before Adam was born. I always remember him teasing me about waiting till the last minute,so he could deliver him in the ambulance. I also fondly remember the 2 dozen pink roses he brought to me that evening in the hospital. He was so proud of his grandson,I think the whole town had cigars....

Margaret,
And the God Bless America Bicentennial, to hell with the British, 1976 born in the USA birth Certificate he had made for Adam. A man who devoted his life to helping others, and children only got to know his first Grandson for such a short time. The fact that he got enough donations to purchase the ambulance and being an EMT instruct the volunteer squad is remarkable. I am sure he being the "boss" of the hospital, made you stay comfortable. LOL I have thought about him every day since 1976. I remember the day he and I brought my donkey colt home, when I was 11 in the back seat of his Oldmobile 98, and hiding it in the barn until he could break the news to my mother that we had another mouth to feed. He fueled my passion, and mother loving tolerated it. I hope your circus roots appreciated my townie/towner roots, as Adam have a mixture thats for sure.
