A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Wade, this is very impressive. Was it this spacious so that all his harem could ride with him at the same time? LOL.

Mary Ann,
Jackie gave me these cards. He still had the carriage, only it had deteriorated considerably as he had no additional funds to restore it. I like to think he used to take Mohan out for a ride, and search for additional white tigers. LOL
Mary Ann-You're the last one who should be talking about harems. Do you want to give Joe more ammunition and more ideas? This reminds me of Cleopatra's floating palace. Was'nt Jackie the Maharaja of Baroda? I was looking back at the letter he sent you and I see he was in the army, and was a Lt. Col., Fatesinghrao P. Gaekwad of Baroda. I thought that since he was the Maharaja of Rewa's nephew he was the son of the Maharaja's sister, or did he inherit both titles? That carriage should probably be in a museum.
Paul,
I agree with you totally. We have gorillas "tearing it up" frontally, Mary Ann getting in "knot" looking at white lions, we have Ryan trying to hook up with the young Barrada girl and posting "pseudo" elephant links with Arabian nudes also offered, kinda like a modern age National Geographic. I don't like the direction this blog has headed.LOL Yes, Jackie inherited both titles. Because of his "royal blood" he entered the army with a rank. I agree about a museum. A lot of Indian history should be in a museum. Probably one of the most fascinating cultures, next to the Imperial Russians.

Wade-Thanks. Have you seen that counterfeit National Geographic with Paris Hilton on the cover? It had me fooled. I think it was put out by the Harvard Lampoon. Thanks for answering so many questions. Regards Paul
Wade, thanks for pointing out the nudes. I missed them the first time around. LOL

Paul,
As stated earlier, my father was a learned educator. He encouraged and bought me issues of Mad magazine when I was a child. I think it was his way of suggesting, that things may appear different depending on who's eyes are doing to looking, and base you beliefs on fact's, and not supposition. I'll be the first one to admit, as has been suggested by many, I am a difficult person to convince, and "why can't you just accept it."
Wade
Ok listen Wade, I think I got off on the wrong foot here. While I am a gentleman, my intent in your blog is to discuss elephant issues, not the cute girls that flock around them (though what a great addition they make). And tell me you didn't enjoy some of those great old photographs of Floyd Smith and his trainees. I think the blog is doing just fine!
Ryan,
Listen buddy, nobody and I mean nobody enjoys a gorgeous lady more then I. No need to justify anything to me. Thanks for the comment about the blog, and thanks for your contributions.
Wade
Have you seen this: http://www.maharajarewa.com/ That's Mohan's stuffed head.
