John Herriott--Just answer the questions you raised.

When I pointed out that author Roberta Ballantine a former Ringling show girl had authored a controversial book disputing whether Shakespeare had written every thing attributed to him, I asked Johnny if that meant she was being disrespect full of her roots, as they were both authors, one questioning the other, or if she had drug Shakespears name through the mud. He responded that she was an intellectual, and her children we geniuses. I assured him I wasn't and my children weren't, and asked him just to answer:

Did she disrespect her roots, and drag Shakespeares name through the mud? Simple yes or no. Is it different then me questioning what has been written about Clyde Beatty? Simple yes or no.

Unanswered questions raised by John Herriott. Why are there no high school acts in the circus, and why must we go back 50 years to reference any? The floor was suggested, by John Herriott discredited it. Answer why?
A number of those mentioned from the past gained much of their fame outside of the circus, in the private sector? Is their greatness referencing their circus time, or their private sector achievements?
Who are your contemporaries that you mentioned?

We are going to move on Johnny, but we ask that you answer these questions that you raised? You have many years experience, and we think we would learn more. Answer YOUR questions, and then you can move on with us. We have seen enough open, welcomeness for a while.

I did not raise any questions, you did. Was Beatty a trainer? Certainly. Did he train his own cats? If need be. He could afford to have trainers add cats to his act, or replace if need be. Whats the big deal. He was Clyde Beatty and with guts and determination climbed to tops in his field. I can see nothing wrong with that. It is done frquently in all fields of endeavor, including yourself and your GGW.

Johnny,
Last one as you seem confused. Yes I raised the questions, and you said I was disrespectful of my roots and dragging his name through the mud. Is Roberta Ballantine disrespectful of her roots also? You slandered me and that is not right. It is slander if you can disprove it. Now answer the question, as well as the others.

I note you have decided not to print out to your blogger viewers my latest comments in a free democratic world and assume they are not in keeping in your No Spin Blog on what you want to hear, so put on your rubber boots and dig them out of the shitpile and let the people hear what I have to say and they can make their own judgment. I am not in a popularity contest with you and your blog and would think you would be happy that a couple of people are responding. Two that I see and when I am gone, down to one. Bad numbers.

So you see you cencored me and took it all out of context so if they married so to the bosses daughter are or would they be ashamed or bothered. So did GGW marry the bosses daughter? Yes he did. Did it help his career? Yes it obviously did. Were there excellent trained animals with the show when he took over? Yes there were. Did he upgrade the overall animal presentations? The cats to a degree. The elephants. No. The horses. No. They had a 24 horse Lippizan liberty that was trained by I understand Pioletti. Do I believe that either he or Beatty were the Worlds Greatest Wild Animal Trainers? Absolutely not. Gunther would be close but his Leopard act was a disaster, even to him and is white tiger was a seat warmer., but all of us as trainers have had good and bad, so that is understandable. But these are facts and why cencor them, I have no intention of hurting or disgracing anyone. until someone advises me that you have put my comments in context, without you accussing me of outlandish things I shall totally disassociate myself with you so called no-spin-blog. The ball is in your court. I am sure you will censure this as well with some off the wall excuse. Bear in mind this is my opinion and open to reasonable open minded debate.
