When we made the first white tiger act, Solomon who had been the centerpiece in the act for years was utilized in a second Hawthorn act with extra gold tigers, and that act was trained by John Cox. Solomon was the 5th lion I had worked with, but they are not much compared to the majesty of a tiger.

When and were is this picture taken?
Thomas
Thomas,
The picture was taken in 1976, at Danbury, Conn.
Wade
Wade,
Thanks. I have a few questions. You worked the Hawthorn gold tiger act in '76 first at Hamid Morton then at Marineland. In '77 at Hamid Morton and then Marineland and in '78 you did the same but with the white tiger act? And did you trained Ika and Ari or did Jean Michon trained them?
Regards,
Thomas
Thomas,
I trained Ika and Ari and John and Herta Cuneo trained Tony and Bagheera.
Wade
And who trained frosty? And when you at in Evansville in 2002?
Regards,
Thomas
Thomas,
Michon trained Frosty, and yes I was in Evansville in 2002.
Wade
Can you say what the tigers names were of the group that you had on Evansville in 2002? And I saw a video of Dieter Wichert presenting tigers on Marineland in 1981, witch group was that? And between how are you doing? Hope everyting is going well. I have also bought the DVD big cats of the big top and also the video programm of 116th edition were you are in.
Regards,
Thomas
Thomas,
I will have to think for a moment about the names of the tigers used in 2002. It was a put together quick act of animals let at winterquarters. The tigers with Deiter were some of the gold tigers taken out of the original gold act, when the whites were added.
Wade
Wade,
Alright, you can think about it :)
Did you worked in 1977 for hawthorn and with witch act? I read many stories about Hawtorn and don't know witch I need to believe or not. So that is why I'm asking you so many questions. Thanks for all answering them. Still have some more questions. In 1978 Hawthorn had two acts, the white tiger act and the lion+tiger act. Did you worked at the same time at Marineland? And in 1979 John Cox had he already the new act ready?
Regards,
Thomas
