Karl A. Bergmann 70 years old of Mercer, WI and Antioch, IL passed away on Saturday April 19, 2008 at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, IL. He was born August 3, 1937 in Germany and came to the United States in 1965 to work as a horse trainer for Temple Farms in Wadsworth, IL. He graduated from the Vienna School of Riding and some of his accomplishments over the years include participating in the first performance of the Temple Lipizzans in 1982, riding in five Presidential inaugural parades and in the United States Bicentennial parade with the Temple Lipizzans, a command performance on the White House lawn for a for the former first lady Rosalyn Carter and many other events. Karl was part of the Appaloosa Enthusiasts and earned world and national championship awards.

Welcome. Glad you are here. Were you only on the show in 76? I went there in 84 and stayed for 7 years? I am sure we know many of the same people.
