Napoleon, King, and Taylor

Mary Ann, Are they cute? Absolutley. As cute as a button. Are they fun to have in the house? Absolutley not. I would rate it just under a root canal on the fun scale. But what are you going to do, when your youngest son convinces you that they will miss their dog if they stay in the tiger barn.
Taylor is my youngest son, who is a "townie".

I remember as a kid thinking that it was perfectly appropriate to have cougars and ocelots running around the house, sleeping on the beds, sparring with the dogs, and keeping a respectful distance from the alligators. Then I went away and when I came home I noticed probably for the first time that the house kind of smelled like the barn. Wouldn't trade that smell for anything.

Ben,
The smell is indeed special. I just tell visitors it must be them and they stepped in something. It is the regular replacing of furniture that gets difficult. Zoom in on the arm of the white leather couch. Wait, don't bother. You know what I am talking about.

I know nothing of large cats, although my house cat is convinced that he is much larger than all of the 6lbs that he is. But as a kid I always wanted a tiger as a pet. I thought it would be "neat" to have one roaming around the house, playing with you, eating the irritating soliciters. Ahh, if only. :D Of course, now I have my wits about me and know that would not be a good idea. At least I've got my horses!
