Let's see how long it is before somebody from Buckles Blog answers Logans question?

Not really related to this comment but I just found pictures from RBBB's Gold unit and saw that they have some of the Miller's elephants on the show instead of Patty Zerbini's. Does anybody know why Patty is no longer on the show or when did she leave?

Thanks,
Logan

No brainer. We all know Zerbini elephants have been temporarily isolated by USDA. The real question is why does Miller Equip have more road worthy elephants than Feld?

Ben,
Extraordinary!!!!!! This little flexling blog broke the story, long before the "Factual Circus History Blog" did. Might be the same reason other blog sites are promoted, but after 4 attempts to get mention of ours, I just let it go. Speaks volumes does it not. Lets let Buckles Blog answer the Miller Equip/Feld question, if we have that long to wait.

Ben,
No word on the elephant deal yet, from America's eminent elephant guy? Why run the post if you don't intend to respond? Waiting for somebody else to respond? Here's a chance to hug Miller and whack Feld. Or Patty Zerbini. Lot of angles to work. Go figure.

To answer the real question....

Ben,
I think the reason is $100 a week more for a Cap. in Huggo then Venice, and you can't pay your bills with health benefits. I suggest the elephants are fine in both herds, but there is no one in line to work them, that really can. And why would there be anyone in line at all? The average truck driver can pull down $1,000 to $1,500 a week, and actually have some time off. Why in the HELL would someone go out, drive a truck (not as nice as even JB Hunt trucks) take a chance of making the news as the bad guy, for $600 to $800 dollars a week? Oh,,,I almost forgot all that BIG BIG ride money. When it is all said and done, if you are on a show that does some rides, you could possibly make the same as a goof rite outta truck driving school, without retirement and health insurance. Tell me where do I sign up.........

No ride money on the Gold...LOL...Maybe things will get better, with fuel headed for $5 indy truckers are going under...that should drive company wages down as more drivers are available...and pretty soon everybody will get $800 a week!

Point worth pondering. Feld has a lot of elephants. Elephants births are up. Just as there is a group of guys who learned elephants on Ringling from Buckles, RBBB may need to give some consideration to training a new generation of guys if they intend to keep elephants on the shows...

Wade, I imagine that frequently questions like Logan's get answered via email rather than receiving a posted reply. I know that I do that sometimes. In this case, Patty Zerbini has been on the road with those elephants for some time. USDA's position requiring their isolation is almost certainly overkill. Don't know if any purpose is served debating that on a blog or not.

Ben,
Hold your breath for an email reply. I think anything involving animals and our business is worthy of open debate, assuming there is nothing to hide, and we are right and they are wrong. Why run the question, and put it out there?

Ben,
Three days, did you get an email yet? Let me know. Everybody I talk to looks away, and pretends like they don't hear.
