For Jr. Zookeeper Trumble.

Ben, this goofy Mr. Ingham sucked up to the Managing Director to get an autograph. If he had been patient and waited, he could have gotten the real deal a couple of months later
Ticket for Frank Buck's JUNGLELAND ZOO

Nice! I believe Buck's co-author for Bring 'Em Back Alive was the same guy who co-wrote the Clyde Beatty books. It's hard to imagine when a pop culture icon Buck was in the 1930's. Martin and Osa Johnson, who were also well known were probably better filmmakers and certainly better naturalists -- why Roy Chapman Andrews (the model for Indiana Jones) and Carl Akeley had the real life adventures that Buck mostly made up at the bar in the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, but he deserves to be remembered as a great popularizer who fed a fascination with exotic animals that lasted for many years.
