Wade, we met Dr. Marcan last August at the Ohio State Fair. We had been on vacation for my birthday in Cincinnati, standing on the boardwalk at Big Cat Canyon when a fellow zoo-goer told us that someone was presenting white tigers at the fair in Columbus. Our dear friend found it on the internet, and we were all surprised to see that it was Dr. Marcan. We went to Columbus on our way home, even though it was about 100 degrees out, and I am not kidding. Dr. Marcan was very gracious to us, gave us two posters which he was kind enough to autograph, and let us see his golden tabby up close.
