Fire kills animals at Karlsruhe Zoo

The elephants and hippos at Karlsruhe Zoo were rescued in dramatic circumstances on Friday night after a fire which had already killed a number of animals threatened to spread to their enclosure.

We don't expect the hippo to know, as there have been no "studies" reported to us lay folk by the Dr's. in the bush about their sub human intelligence and emotion's and awareness, and PTS and the like. But we have to know, given all that we have been told by the binocular gang that the elephants have to be aware of how lucky they are that they were not checked into a protected contact facilty when this tragic fire broke out. No way could they have found a target in all that smoke. For every justified reason there is for having animals you can handle and control, the ar nitwits will scramble to make up a rebuttal against.
