A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

I can't believe that nobody has raved about these magnificent photos.
PS: Anonymous was me - too engrossed with Mr Marcan's cats to sign on properly!
Steve,
If nothing else, I think we have shown, talent has to do with whether you have signed an autograph, shaken somebodies hand. As stated from day one, in an industry with no standard what had the jobs, may not have been as good as what their fans were saying. That may have as much to do with audience disapproval today, as AR, but it is hard to admit. Add to that the jealousy within and it all goes to Jamie Clubb, and David Hammerstroms statements. There was a time back in the 80's when Josip and I were playing "dueling banjo's"(you do that, I'll do it better), and we may have disagreed philosophically over the years, but there has always been a great respect and admiration.
Even if you have never met a Fredy Knie, Gerd Semoneit, Roman Proske, Alfred Court, while photo's and videos may not tell you their methods, it will sure tell you whether they had something beautiful, or whether they had a great fan base/public relations dept.
